Who we are
I spent much of my adult life exploring the wilds of Montana and Alaska, working as both a fishing guide and an airplane and helicopter mechanic. Life eventually brought me back to Salt Lake City, where I decided to pursue my lifelong passion for building and creating — and Chinook Carpentry was born.
My years in the outdoors taught me to respect natural materials and appreciate the beauty of things built to last. Working on aircraft demanded absolute precision, patience, and attention to detail — qualities that carry directly into my woodworking. Every joint, curve, and finish is approached with intention, care, and pride.
Today, through Chinook Carpentry, I have the opportunity to design and build custom furniture and fine woodwork that help make homes truly unique. Each piece I create blends craftsmanship, function, and timeless design — built to endure and crafted to fit beautifully into the home it’s made for.
